Michael’s interest in music, communicating with and entertaining people dates back to his teen years beginning with radio broadcasting. Started as a radio station personality, music director and even TV weatherman (once!) in the 80’s. Recognized as a Silver Microphone award winner.

Desiring to continue living in the Pacific Northwest, Michael joined the satellite TV business for homes and businesses. Then these things called cellular phones came along in the 90’s leading to establishing a bustling independent wireless phone business Advanced Communications Systems. As the year 2000 rolled around, the cell phone business was sold and Thanks For Holding was fully established. Ever since then, have been providing outstanding music and voice audio, then video, services to businesses across North America.

In 2007 Michael joined the On Hold Messaging Association, which evolved into the Experience Marketing Association and served on the board of directors, various committees and focus groups promoting the industry.
